I want to go with the medium because I usually spend my weekend playing games all day in my room, but this weekend I feel like exploring Wooster and enjoying some outdoor activity.


Digital Detox Reflection

My digital detox went pretty well, but it was challenging at the same time. I was also surprised by how I unconsciously tried to get on the “scrolling apps”. So I deleted my Instagram and TikTok to avoid getting on it. I also unplugged my PlayStation to stop myself from playing games. So every time I try to turn it on I remember that I’m doing a digital detox. 

One of the obvious changes from the detox was the quality of the rest I got from sleeping and waking up early. I felt way more energized and engaging than every other day. The extra time I got from not scrolling on TikTok and Instagram was amazing. I had time to work out, went shopping, and even made dinner myself. The only time I used social media during the weekend was to talk to my mom about upcoming winter break plans. Other than that I’d say it was a very successful and productive weekend.
