Kenneth Karenzi: Image Project

i took this while walking to a friend’s dorm a few days ago. i took it for no reason, really.
very dark photo. 2020, 15 years old. this was during the first wave of COVID, in quarantine.

as of today, i feel my role in life is being someone who gives love to others, particularly in friendships. these are two of my closest friends on campus. i love them so much. my face is behind the balloon.

some of my newest happy moments have been with them.

  1. I really like your last photo. I feel like you were in the moment and not really paying attention to getting a “good” photo. I also like your last comment about your ‘newest happy moments’. I think that one statement really showed me a glimpse of your relationship with them and how much you cherish the moments with them.

  2. I like the way your photos are staunchly different in their lighting, themes, and perspective. I think your third photo jumps out from a creative perspective as it is much more abstract than the other two. Also, I liked the caption of your first photo, which in a way asks why we take selfies at all in the first place.
