This image is my most recent image. I chose this image because I feel it helps capture my joy. In this image I had just returned home to visit my family in Costa Rica.

I focused on adjusting the colors to allow myself to stand out from the background but allowing the colors to mix.

This picture was taken 5 years ago. This image was after my last ever ski race for Mammoth Mountains ski team. My goal in this image was to capture my emotion after finishing up my last ever race. I also focused on blurring the background to help myself stand out.

This image helps capture me as an athlete. Through the vibrant colors it helps show my role as just a human on this earth that is allowed to enjoy its beauty. I decided to darken the shadows on my body to almost hide myself from the background because my purpose was to show that it is not just me in the world. However, I am just a piece of the world and it is my role to help care for it.
