I’m lying on the floor, surrounded by my physics and math related books, papers, journals, comic books, mangas, and my guitar. These represent the things I spend most of my time on, capturing how I often feel overwhelmed and sink into my this hobbies, to the point where I zone out of reality.

This is me on the rooftop of my house back in Ethiopia, on the day I left the country, which also happened to be my birthday. The traditional garment I’m wearing, called a ‘Gabi,’ was a gift from my aunt. Often associated with nobility, the Gabi symbolizes my pride in my ethnicity and the sticker represents my bloodline as a descendent of the Solomonic Dynasty. In the background, you can see the city where I grew up in, Addis Ababa.

This image captures my passion for drawing.
The photo of the pencil is very cool. I like how the camera was focused on the pencil, but you can still make out the drawing in the background, which is giving the illusion that the paper is breaking beneath your pencil.
All of these images are very great. My favorite picture is the first one where you are laying on the floor and surrounded by your interests. This image shows a lot of creativity and develops a story of relaxation and comfort. I really like how you used objects to represent your identity as well.
I like the first selfie. Everything is blurred and that draws more attention to you.
I like this images, they are very telling and well described. I also like how each photo emphasizes something, making it easy to identify what purpose the image is serving.
The first selfie is a dope one. I really like how you made the selfie black and white and this shows how you are able to just lock in on the things that you love to do. I think you closing your eyes represents a lot in this photo as well. It shows how you are able to stay balance and be in control of everything around you.
