This Story Map is intended to show the historical and present day significance that some of the athletic facilities hold here at The College of Wooster. It is also intended to show how many teams share and use the same playing surface, which can lead to possible scheduling or practice conflicts. At the Division 3 level, it is common to have differently structured facilities than higher up programs, but The College of Wooster takes very good care of each playing space, and most places have been renovated in the recent years.
As an athlete myself, your project is very interesting. I like how you detailed the field sharing inequalities, but also mentioned that all fields are well maintained. I also like how you shared some of the accomplishments achieved on each facility as well as the renovation history of each facility. One suggestion might be to create more of an argument about how some it is not fair that some teams have to share their facility more than other teams, but overall I am a fan of your project.
What’s up Charlie,
After seeing your story map, I really enjoyed learning more about the facilities here on campus. You provided really cool pictures and some interesting facts about some of the school’s accomplishments and what the facilities are like. Your locations were very easy to know and to understand. I really think you did a really nice job on this project.
