For my digital detox I set my phone more often on do not disturb. especially during sleeping hours and the two hours before it. I also set a limit for social media apps like X (twitter) because I knew that those apps don’t help me always. They spread negativity which I don’t like.
The detox wasn’t always easy for me and I noticed that when I was on do not disturb mode, I still checked my messages often. The other thing I noticed was that I did more other things on my phone, like watching movies, Netflix series and playing videogames.
In the future I will definitely decrease my use of social media apps and just do something else on my phone. Something more productive or fun.
This is a guide around campus which shows you a route. The route is made so you can walk safely at night alone or with people. You walk from emergency pole to emergency pole. I also added suggestions for locations of new emergency poles, because some areas are not well covered and can be scary to walk through at night.
In todays podcast we talk about the value of physical and digital things.

ChatGPT custom model: I used the feedback AI to enhance my lab report. I asked the question about what I could add and then it gave me feedback and I changed that. I focused on the part about accessibility.
This my most recent selfie that was good enough to submit. My other selfies are quite blurred. This selfie is made in the shuttle bus from Cleveland to Wooster. This was underway to my first time here at Wooster. I like to make myself from a bird’s eye view, in that way I can make the position unique. Also, I don’t like to make a selfie direct from my face, because that feels a little to direct and in your face. It is kind of the same way with someone tilting their head in a selfie.
‘ Christmas gift’
This is a selfie taken by my mother in 2019. It was taken during the Dutch version of Christmas. I got this t-shirt as a gift from ‘Sinterklaas’ (that is the Dutch version of Santa Claus). The t-shirt is merchandise from a youtuber I used to watch a lot at the time. They made an amazon system in Minecraft and called it ‘Sahara’. I cropped my father, who was in the bottom right corner sitting on the floor, out of the photo. In doing so I also got the rules of thirds right.
Paragliding in the Alps
This a picture of me this summer in the alps of Austria. We were there for 5 days and decided to do all kinds of things there. One of these things was paragliding, I was about a mile in the air. You can see the other paraglider in the picture and that one is the one where my little brother sits in. This picture represents me good in a few different ways. Firstly, the location, I love travelling and this was taken in Austria. So, the travelling aspect of me is represented that way. Secondly, the way the photo is taken, it is again from a bird’s eye view, like my most recent selfie. I especially like it in this photo, because you can so much of the valley I was gliding over. The last aspect, which represents me the most, is the thrill aspect of me. I really enjoy doing thrilling things, like riding rollercoasters, climbing trees or mountains and diving from cliffs. That’s why I think this picture represents me really good.
