Description: An examination of College of Wooster’s campus specifically accommodations for those with disabilities, with suggestions to enhance campus. College of Wooster is not a perfect campus; no place is but we can strive to improve it by participating in the design process. So, with this story map I analyze different locations on campus while suggesting ways they can be improved.

Athletic Facilities at The College of Wooster

This Story Map is intended to show the historical and present day significance that some of the athletic facilities hold here at The College of Wooster. It is also intended to show how many teams share and use the same playing surface, which can lead to possible scheduling or practice conflicts. At the Division 3 level, it is common to have differently structured facilities than higher up programs, but The College of Wooster takes very good care of each playing space, and most places have been renovated in the recent years.

Mapping Accessibility at Wooster: Is the Wooster campus easily accessible to everyone?

Mapping Accessibility at Wooster (arcgis.com)

This project explores the challenges of accessibility on the College of Wooster campus. Comparing accessible and difficult-to-navigate areas reveals how much work remains to create an inclusive student environment. My goal is to raise awareness and advocate for improvements that can make the college more inclusive for everyone.
